Dr. La Casto’s parents set the example of regular chiropractic care. His Father was a baker and went almost weekly for chiropractic adjustments due to the physical demands of his job. His Mother sought chiropractic adjustments for the relief of headaches. Dr. La Casto started chiropractic care as a young athlete and experienced first-hand the relief and quick recovery for sports injuries.
Dr. La Casto graduated Cleveland Chiropractic College, Los Angeles in 1984. He practiced for a few years in his hometown of Thousand Oaks, CA until he found Paso Robles, CA in 1987. There he opened his first practice in May of 1988.

Chiropractic treatments by Dr. La Casto utilize multiple techniques/styles to help patients recover including Diversified, Computerized assessment and adjusting through the Pro-Adjuster/Ultralign equipment, SOT Blocks, Thompson Drop, Kaufman Pain Neutralization Technique, extremity adjusting and educating patients through exercise and activities of daily living.
Dr. La Casto and his wife, Debbie, live in Templeton. They are the proud parents of 4 grown children and enjoy 3 grandsons. When they are not at work they enjoy hiking the beautiful central coast, wine tasting, cooking and socializing with family and friends.

Debbie has been an essential part of La Casto Chiropractic since the business opened in 1988. With an extensive background in Chiropractic and certification as an Advanced Chiropractic Assistant she has played a major part of the practice and has even been referred to as the “back bone” of the office. She is a big part of the beautiful and relaxing design that you see and feel when you step into our reception area.
Debbie and Dr. Don were married in 1992 and raised Debbie’s two daughters, Leslie and Michelle while continuing to work. They had their first son, Sal, in 1995 and their second son, Michael, in 1999. Our children have always been our pride and joy. Now that we have 3 beautiful Grandsons we are even more blessed and enjoy them every chance we get.
In 2015 Debbie stepped into a life-long dream of working as a real estate agent and is proud to be affiliated with RE/MAX Sucess in Templeton, California. You will see her popping in and out of La Casto Chiropractic Center to lend a hand to work behind the scene managing our busy office. She is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful to all of our patients.
Tammy Motley, C.M.T.
Licensed as a Certified Massage Therapist in 2017, Tammy has been practicing massage for 4 years. She comes from a background of personal training and is trained as a physical therapy assistant. Having this base of knowledge allows her to understand how to really help people who are in pain. She believes in the importance of relaxing massage as well.
Specializing in relieving Sciatica, low back, calf pain and neck pain. Tammy uses all the tools available to her including Deep tissue massage, Swedish massage with gentle energy work and myofascial release. She is able to listen to your body's needs and listen to your goals to develop a plan that will work for you to help you relax and return to that all important homeostasis.
Tammy has lived on the central coast for 32 years, moving here from the central valley to marry her husband Tim Motley. Starting their life together in Santa Maria they have migrated north finally settling in Atascadero. They just love this area, the people and the beer and wine scene. Tammy absolutely loves helping people feel better.
